Screw Rants: Fat Lady, Singing, Etc.

In the process of updating his (rather extensive!) movie collection to Blu-Ray, my brother has been culling out those films that he has either bought better copies of, or no longer likes. Which has led to me inheriting several discs myself, which led to the (extremely rapid) filling of my media cabinet as I rescue discs from the pile that I’d like to have hard copies of (or haven’t seen but would still like to). This, in turn, has me looking at my own collection to keep the acquisition of new material from getting out of hand…

Review ALL THE THINGS!

…which sounds like a perfect excuse to finally get off my ass and properly resurrect The Digger. True, life has been beating me like a red-headed step-child these past couple of years, but while I have the opportunity and excuse to sit down and review all the damn things, by God I’m gonna take it. What better way to stave off my crippling depression and self-esteem issues, after all, than to talk about things everybody already knows on my site that nobody even visits?
SO.
Starting next week, we'll be updating once again, every Wednesday until announced otherwise, as I work through my queue of movies and games. What's pictured above isn't even everything. I have a Netflix to-watch list a mile long, too, as well as some download titles on my consoles and a few digital games that I can play now that my computer is more stable than a Jenga tower in an earthquake. Next week I'll either be starting with Green Lantern or Weekend at Bernie's (depending on my mood), and working my way down (literally) the movie list, with occasional ventures into other media. And somewhere along the line, I'll try and drag MonoChrome back in here, too.

Pretty much exactly like that.

2016 may have been a shit year, and 2017 may have started with a 6-month journey into the deepest recesses of fast food hell, but I'm gonna salvage it yet. And it starts with getting this baby up and running again.
